World record Brook trout

Not wanting to take anything away from Randydance's thread on his brother's made wonderful split cane fishing rods I thought this may be interesting so posted this separate.

Through a close friend in the shooting community, who was also an avid fisherman, I was able to see the rod and reel that took this record trout. That was 30 or so years ago and up until that time I was unaware of this historical event not being a fisherman.
