Who owns who

Just about died when I saw this https://www.czg.cz/brands/ . Never thought I'd see Colt and Colt Canada under another umbrella company.

CZ makes some really nice guns, if not the best, now.

My father gifted me a CZ-75, Silver anniversary, still in box, never fired. #51 of the first 500 made.

I have some BRNO sporting rifles from the 1950s -1960s in both large and small ring Mauser. They are as good as any production rifle made anywhere. It just surprises me that that a military arms supplier is under a foreign umbrella company.
