for re-hydrating there are a number of products. The little Al. disks doodads work for me refreshed with distilled water.
I notice there's many Stanwell fans. Such is fine by me:) they are great pipes.

It would have probably been helpful if i mentioned that on hand I have captain's black cavendish, celtic morning, gent's blend, stonehenge, crown achievement, jesse's blend, lenny's own, blend 965, and ultimate blend; I could do smaller samples of any of these.
I could go for that but I'll check the site first maybe i'll pm you if i think i need your special offer. If you like 965 my taste is just a notch lower as it peaks out my spice threshold-- but i have never found a Virginia blend i like all that much. thanks againQuote:

Oh, gee, another of my acquisiton disorders. I have about 20 pipes. Peterson's are good and reasonably priced, I have a Rosslaire (with the amber stem) that is one of my favorites.
You can get as crazy about pipe smoking as about straight razors. I have a box of various tinned tobaccos aging on my bookcase. My tobacco vault. ;)
I smoke a pipe on and off, but here I can not find any good tobbacconists. cigarettes are so cheap everybody smokes them!
In the UK I smoked a really great cherry vanilla tobacco - I don't remember the name - the tobbacconist recommended it.
At the moment I am stuck with Amphora - can't say I really like it - has anybody else tried it?

I'm living in Poland where cigarettes are 7 PLN a pack - about 3 USD. Comparing that to where I'm from in the UK (about 5-6 GBP/9-10 USD) they are definately cheap!
My main problem isn't the cost but the availability. I used to roll cigarettes in the UK which was cheaper, but even finding good rolling tobacco is hard here.
I think I will just buy some nice tobacco from the UK, as I have no wish to spend money on trying out tobacco that may or may not be any good!
