I was just wondering what people smoke here.
My favorites are:
Davidoff
Acid Kuba Kuba
Kahlua
I smoked many a Cubans while abroad but I have to say I prefer the Davidoff over almost anything. There was one cuban that I deemed the price acceptable for the quality, but I no longer have the wrappers for it cause I took them off before coming to the US. Kind of wish I knew what they were.
Akady, I smoke quit a bit and currently am enjoying Olivas, 601's, Tatuaje's, Illusiones, Don Pepin Garcia's. I have a big humidor and also several big tupperware containers full of sticks as well. Flint
And I am now jealous. I have a small I think like 50 stick humidor. I refuse to smoke things like Swishers so I normally go with something like the Acid which is 5-7 dollars.Quote:

I am with you on the Padron Anni's ... I love those cigars, I tend to favor the Natural over the Maduro wrapper.
I also really enjoy a Camacho 07/08's...they are great as well.
there are so many real good cigars out there, It is hard to just pick a few.. I tend to rotate what I smoke....just because I can.

I like the Partagas (particularly the n° 4) and the Montechristo; but I also enjoy a Romeo & Julietta, a Griffin or a Davidoff. But I am only an occasional smoker (after stopping cigarette smoking more than two years ago, I reduced my smoking to a few cigars and pipes a year... but I still enjoy it)
Some of my favorite sticks for the money are: Rocky Patel Factory Seconds (from famoussmokeshop), J.L.Salazar (from CubanCrafters), CAO Brazilia Piranhas, Exotic Blend II (from Taboocigars). These are all medium to full cigars. I also like the Don Pepin Garcia Blue Labels, Fuente 8-2-8 maduros, Punch Punch maduro rothschilds, and a few others.

Just got in a few no name hand rolled cubans from a friend who was there and WOW!!! Most amazing cigars I have ever had. Other than that I enjoy Tatiana Dolces, and Kahluas every now and again.
I like cigars with a good gauge, but that are not too long. Elseway I just get tired of smoking.
For the moment, I really like Montecristo #5.
I have some Cohiba Robustos and Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure #2, but I let these get older and keep them for special occasions. I did not tried these yet.
Hoyo De Monterrey Excalibur - their torpedo is my go to cigar when I don't want to make a decision
Cara Mia - It's a Canary Island cigar, again their torpedo if I can find it. It's one of my favorites of all time.

Just to name a few. I have a good 150 sticks in the humi with several boxes sitting beside it, and just ordered another 80 sticks. Guess I have cigar acquisition disorder
I haven't had many, but I like Ashton Maduro's and Cabinets. There are a few in each line, and I don't remember which I had, but they were very nice.
I read a lot of rave reviews about the Macanudo Maduro series, which was
described as a gentle maduro, rich and flavorful. not overpowering. I selected
a Macanudo Maduro "Diplomat" tonight, alternately described as yummy, creamy,
better than dessert and as rich as a Christmas cake .....Sounds good right?.
I thought it tasted like bug spray and I tossed it out of the car window about
1/3 smoked.
Not to de-rail this, but if cigars dry out, can they be re-humidified, or are they "done for"? I have a bunch that I never got around to smoking, and don't have one of the fancy humidors, just a cedar box with a piece of foam or something in it. Usually would just go buy a cigar the day I was planning to smoke it rather than storing.
I agree...went to an "event" where they rolled these out, and I didn't think much of them. General Cigar has really dumbed-down their products the last few years, so I tend to stay away from them these days. In the 80's, Macanudo was a respected marque, especially the Jamaican-rolled ones.Quote:
