I hear ya but in my mind at the time I think if I get it off the ground quick nothing going to happen to the bike, or the damage is not going to get any worse.

Thanks dude! I'm really stoked on it. I haven't ridden it much. It's been raining here, and it's *killing* me. Hopefully it'll clear up tomorrow and I can take an extended lunch.

Same story here. It's been raining non-stop for about a week and a half here. It rained all the way until I had to store my bike:cen Hopefully the rain around you will cut out so you can get in some quality seat time!

sorry if this is a bit long and a little off topic, and if anyone has one of the bikes i was talking about i apologize, these are just my experiences. now that i reread this i realize it kinda goes against what i said about harleys being reliable but i swear it is only the new ones :)

Is Harley stepping up and fixing these cranks? I've got an '07 Street Glide that I had bumped up to 103" when I ordered it.

I didn't get to ride at all last year due to a leg injury at work and three surgeries. Hopefully this year I'll be able to get back out.

I got the bike in Oct. '06. may of '07 I took a trip to Dallas to see my daughter. Nice ride, but nothing spectacular.

Then is Sept. the GF and I took a ride to the U. P. in Michigan. The Tunnel of Trees (can't remember the hwy number) was beautiful!

It has taken me 16 months to build this. Took it out today for it's shake down. It started out as a wrecked 74 Cb 750. I build the tanks and modified the the hard tail frame. Runs like a dream but that hard tail on a dirt road is a killer, it is two miles from my house to a paved road.

G`day to you all outhere. Tought I`ll let you know what my 2nd love is. It`s my 96 Canadian VMax. It`s got 152 Bhp, wide rims, 6 piston brake callipers,wave brake`s, DOMA exhaust system,complete stransparent enginecover set incl carb covers, Corbin seat.
It`my 2nd VMax, my first one I sold 3 years ago to my youngest brother in law. For my oldest brother in law, we`ve 2 years ago also a nice VMax, so we`re all VMaxed!!
I`m the president of the Dutch VMax Club (check us out www.vmaxclubholland.nl) If anybody wants to feel adrenaline kicks in at 6500 rpm, get your self a VMax. It,s got looks, sound and best of all ist a cult bike. BTW the new VMax....not so much my cup of thea.
