Favorite Chocolate Bar

Lindt is good. I generally prefer 70% dark.

I have two favourites, but they may be a little parochial (UK-based) for most of you guys? There's a brand here called Green & Blacks -- it's available in all supermarkets now. Their white chocolate is to die for. Which is weird because I can't stand white chocolate normally, but this stuff must have crack in it or something. It has little dark flecks of vanilla pod in it which you can see.

My other favourite is only really available at Christmas time -- Terry's Plain Chocolate Orange. OK, it's not a bar, it's a chocolate ball which you bang on a hard surface and it separates into little chocolate orange segments, just like a real orange.

I'm a big fan of Coffee Crisp if I want a "nice, light snack," and O! Henry! bars when I want something a tad more substantial (although, I can't really look at the Oh Henry! bar when I eat it because I gag a little because it has an uncanny resemblance to a turd).

On thinking about it, my favorite common chocolate type candy is reeses peanut butter cups!
It's not actually a bar and its more peanut butter than chocolate, so I hope it counts

Poor you! Must be hell living in That London! We get them all the year round here in Cheltenham. Bit like those disgusting cream eggs!

I am from Belgium. The stuff I pick up at the corner store IS high end chocolate.
Lets see. Cote d'or is good allround.
I prefer Leonidas pralines which are about the best you can buy, worldwide.

Cote d'or makes plates of chocolate with differing levels of cacao. 60, 70, 80 and even 90. Send me a PM if you want some. They are not that expensive... over here :)

I give a second vote to Green and Blacks chocolate.

Made in Italy and widely available in England. It tastes great, whatever they put in it. Better than all the rest as Tina Turner says. IMHO.
