Didn't all the best Cuban cigar makers leave Cuba years ago? From what I understand Cuban cigars aren't anything like they were a few decades ago due to all the geniuses leaving the country.I've never had a Cuban before, but from what I have tried, DR and Nicaragua are great Cigar makers.
Well, I picked up an Arturo Fuente today, as well as a Habano Nub. I was not impressed with the Fuente whatsoever. I hope the Nub is good.
don't tell me that Quick I have 5 setting in the humidor putting on a little age!!!!!!!!!:gaah::gaah::rofl2:
After pondering it, I think I may be to blame. It's been a rough day, so I was excited to try my 2nd cigar ever and hopefully make the day a little better. I lit the thing entirely wrong (touched the flame to the cigar!), then started sucking like the cure was inside. It tasted scorched, peppery, and the smoke was warm/hot. I'm fairly certain at this point it's my fault:gaah:
I just had a Romeo y Julietta No. 3 - with coffee and brandy - out on my deck.
It was excellent. :D
