Stumbled upon these 30+ year old photos. Amazing what you can find in someone else's basement.

Bound to be a story behind that one. Even 30+ years ago!
Yes, there is. I was about 140lbs/64 Kgs lighter back then. :D If you mean the guns, they were a museum's property. Even though I don't show it in the pictures I was tickled pink to handle those in person, especially the FG 42. Apparently you can have a semi auto working replica of an FG 42 made for the cost of one original magazine. I'd hate to guess what an original select fire one is worth on the open market now.

Purchased this new Hawke Vantage IR 4-12x50 Rimfire .22 (Subsonic) Reticle scope, and a new vanguard equalizer pro 2 bipod + a new set of Recknagel Detachable Sling Swivels.

Young Bob with Machine guns! Pretty cool. Yeah. Worth a pile of dough IF you can actually own one.
Nice scope, Jamie! :tu Gonna strike some matches?
From the same bunch of photos as the German guns. Don't get too excited, the Bren gun is a semi auto only mil surplus. Still fun to shoot though.

Good thing you aren't in NY, ain't no ammo here, plus one of them must have the dreaded bayonet lug...that makes them much more dangerous.?...
