I have a few pretty ones I'll share, but most of mine are work horses not glass case decorations to be honest.

Those M1 Carbines are really fun guns to shoot. I am a gun fan, and I'm actually in the market for a little riot style shotgun for when the next guy tries to rob my apartment... maybe a little 000 buck shot for his troubles

Have you ever tried the US Rifle of 1917?
That's my favorite turn-bolt.

My Garand is a 1943 Springfield, by way of Denmark. VAR barrel, Beretta handguards.

I enjoy shooting several rifles and pistols. The latest favorite is a beat-up Swiss K31 that lived in Basel for a while; it is incredibly accurate.

I had a 1917 Enfield sporterized...nice gun, strong action, terrible trigger but fixable. Messed around with the .303 Brit Enfeild for awhile. I made a handy carbine out of it. It ended up in Alaska with a friend who moved there and needed a weapon.

The Springfield was a nice action. They paid Mauser royalties until WW1, it was so close to the German '98. If I started to tell you about all my guns I have had we would be here awhile.

A firearm is a tool my Dad used to say... it's only as useful as the operator. He taught me how to use the tools well. I seen him hit a groundhog right in the nose with his Winchester 88 in .308. That hog was about 375 yards away. Imagine what he could do with a deer! I put three shots into a quarter at 100 yards with that rifle and Remington 150 gr. PSPCL. Man could that thing shoot for a lever gun.

By the way 30 CAL, I am still drooling over your collection of thumb busters! Nice guns.

Soon and very soon, I'll be purchasing my first. Can't wait. Although the same money would buy me some nice razors....

I am currently working up some loads for an Enfield .303, had a brush gun built up with iron sights 25 years ago, only recently got going with it to finish off shooting it in. The action is marked Sparkbrook 1902, LE mk01 hav had it barrelled with a 1942 Lithgow heavy barrel. Am trying 37 grs of AR2208 which is an Aussie made powder,with a 180grs soft point. Be interesting how it groups. The rifle when I first got it was ruined, so only the action was any good. We call these old rifle "Long Toms" and they had a well deserved reputation for accuracy. Did have a shot out of one of your 30/40 Krags, they have allways had some appeal for me.
