ANTQUE AIRGUNS,and THE NEW ADULT TOYS

I believe the airgun used on the expedition was 36 caliber, I saw an exact replica a few years ago at the Buffalo Bill Museum in Cody, Wyoming.

I think a Quackenbush big bore would be fun, but they are pricey and supply is limited.

Cool topic though.

I own a Relum Tornado (.22), not for hunting, although it is definatly capable, it's did have the original scope but a shot rebound and smashed it, missing my eye by inches, its a lovely airgun with an underleaver loading system. i have had it a fair while now and its has run through a good amount of pellets in it's life.
It only cost me £50 which i think, considdering its condition was amazing.

My friend who got me started in the big boy stuff had one of those lewis and clark guns,I dont remember the name but it was .45cal and took over an hour to pump it up full. Supposedly this could take a moose or an elk,after shooting it ,I dont think I would bet against it.,I also have a Silver Streak,have you seen the prices of these things?
Glad I bought mine twenty years ago..
