    Default Absynthe

Only tried the one and haven't had much disposable income since we tried it but I really enjoyed it. Anyone else enjoy an evening dance with the green fairy.

I think there is a thread way back in history on this. But yes, I do. The last time I was in Paris I went to a store that is devoted only to Absinthe. I picked up a special bottle to bring home. But the fairy is only green if its a verte. She's white if its a blanche.

Just be sure to eat some garlic. You'll be fine.

A photographer friend of mine got me curious. I think we got an Absynthe brand. It was pretty good but not very potent. There isn't a huge selection around here but when I get a little money I will try a few of them.

I liked it better than Brandy or Whiskey which were my drinks of choice before so that is saying something.

I've never tried it and since I've long given up on hard liquor and stick with my beer I probably never will but I went looking and found this interesting I do hope all will enjoy

Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

Mail order is a good choice for someone who really wants to explore Absinthe. Because, yes its an esoteric option and most liquor stores will have only a couple options. Lucid is a sturdy every day drinker. Kubler is also pretty good and readily available. If you are really into it, shop Buy real Absinthe online || ALANDIA Absinthe store est. 2001 . They ship to the US and have my coveted Jade line of Absinthes. You'll pay for it though. Its not cheap.

I haven't seen any that are cheap. I will look into those when I get home. I am pretty sure they block alcohol sites at work. I am not sure the rules in Tennessee about receiving imported liquor. It was only just recently made legal to ship wines and beers from other states and only shortly before that was it made legal to ship them across the state. So hopefully I can mail order Absinthe and that will make it a lot better. I think I can find Ludid and Absinte pretty easily and a couple of others that I don't remember names but are probably pretty popular since no one has more than 3 and most have only 1 or 2.

Thanks for the suggestions. Sometime in January or February I should be able to pick up some more. We like to drink it on the porch, though, now that we have almost all the houses on our street occupied that may not be as much fun, or it might be much more fun. Hard to say.

    We definitely laughed a lot.

IL had all of those liquor/mail restrictions. I never paid it any mind if the person shipping it didn't care. IL can't find their ass with both hands never mind monitor my incoming mail.

No, I had a terrible night on a bottle that I bought in prague. Since then I wouldn't be keen to touch it. I do however still have the spoon I bought.

Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast
