"Silverado" - Kasdan nails his culmination of every western you've ever seen from the first scene to the last. Blockbuster cast. My father and I used to watch that one and a friend of mine was always ready to watch it. My fondest memories are of that movie and those that have gone before me.
"To Have and Have Not" - Hemmingway, Hawks, Bogart, Bacall... can't go wrong, but my all time favorite:
"The Big Sleep" - Seen it at least 500 times and if I don't think about it too much I can't remember 'who did it'.

Those are some great ones. I'll have to revisit some on the list it'd been so long since I'd seen them I'd forgotten. And by all means list as many as you please.

Some that haven't been mentioned, The Maltese Falcon (Bogart), Rashoman, Hirakiri (Seppuku), The Third Man, Pickup On South Street, White Heat, Elmer Gantry and I could go on and on too. If you haven't seen any of these check 'em out.
