Thanksgiving dinner was a resounding success. Great food tonight and plenty of it. I doubt I could consume a single raisin at the moment. Is it just me or does one's ability to consume impressive quantities of food diminish with age? Without question I had more than my fill to eat but 20 years ago it would have only been a snack. Luckily I got my run in before the feast. In my current state, there would have been absolutely zero chance of a night run. Overall it was a great day although "America's Team" did squeeze out a victory in the last play of the game against the Dolphins of Miami. Gosh, I hate to see the Cowboys win. Anyway, hope y'all had a great Thanksgiving
I don't know about this 1OldGI. The last time I visited with my grandfather we went to a buffet and at 96 yo and maybe 125 lbs he ate three big plates of food, one bread pudding with ice cream and a piece of Dutch apple pie. All washed down with 4 or 5 cups of coffee that man could eat. Today I am sure he would have eaten more than most of us. Thanks 1OldGI its the last time I saw him and it was a great day.
