I've been using fountain pens pretty much exclusively for a number of years. While I have numerous brands in my collection, I am a big fan of Franklin-Christoph pens. In particular the medium stub nibs done by Mike Masuyama. The pen in my pocket most frequently for about a year now is their Model 20 with that nib.

A 1970s Kaweco Sport in the standard Pouch without coin, a piston Filler V16N (N stands for the gold plated steel nib) together with a ball pen.
It took me about the half weekend to clean the FP from the old, black ink that was dryed out inside but now as its clean and filled up with Pelikan Blue
it writes like pure luxury, its the softest of all my Pens and i like the B very much, its so flexibel that i can write italic like letters :D

A little Info for all the Users here that have a Set like that above too containing the Kuli 619 Ballpen, the Refills for that Ballpen arent produced for a long time but can be made easily. The Ballpen uses a Standard A2 Refill as it has the right diameter but not the right lenght, the original Kaweco Refill has 93mm of lenght. I shortened a Online (like Schneider Express 75) Refill to 93mm and i works great, you only have to look that the cutted end is round and the the little piece foam plastic that is in the piece that is cutted off is placed back in the refill. The Refill itself isnt too much filled up with ink so theres no danger to cut into the ink.

So I am having a wonder, and thought Ibwould seek input.
I currently have 3 fountain pens in my pencil case. Red, black and blue. I acquired another pen a while back and it is sitting in my pen jar on my desk
What do I do with it???
Get a fourth colour and put it into use? If so what colour?
Stick with black or blue and leave it in the office?
Any other ideas?

Not a fountain pen user. I use a G2 pen that has a Mont Blanc refill. I get a great writing pen for just a few bucks that way. The refill has to be shortened a few millimeters to fit.
Well. Only 3 colours ???? It's like having only 3 straight razors [emoji6] I made my own orange ink. It's very nice. A mix of yellow with a few drops of red. When writhing it gives a flame effect where the ink is thicker.Quote:

Diamine also make a jadegreen ink. It's very nice. Loves green.
