Having a Leffe with a mate at LeRoy on Grand place, Brussels is one of the finer things in life:) I'm attending a work thing in Amsterdam, but we decided to just hop on a train and go have a few in Belgium instead today..

Now that's cool. I envy Europe for that very concept, that you can hop on a train and be in a different country in an hour or couple of hours.
If I drive 24 hours to the west, at 110 KM/h, I'm STILL IN ONTARIO! It takes about 28 hours for me to reach the next province westward, and about 7 hours to reach the next province eastward.
My pal always brings back leffe from Belgium every year he's over there. you can buy it here but its still a great beer :beer2:
I think I may have taken that train once or twice - well, Maastricht into Belgium anyway. I like that they serve beer in wine glasses :D
James.
Not too far from there is a very sweet cafe you might like a lot,
and right infront of that cafe is the lesser known "Jeanneke Pis" which was placed there to try and attract more tourists to the cafes and restaurants near it, as the only real way to get there is to.. well.. walk past all of them :D
delirium cafe
address: Impasse de la Fidélité, 4A - 1000 Bruxelles
wikipedia just for good measure: Délirium Café - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
