Personally, I didn't see the general response as stand-offish. Common defense is a substantial part of the foundation of the United States - initially as protection of the common populace against its government.

If you grew up watching John Wayne, Gunsmoke, Have Gun Will Travel ......... reading about Wyatt Earp, Jesse James, the civil war ........ God created man, Colonel Colt made them equal .....
I've got it from a good source that in the future they are gonna have "Blasters" and "Phasers" that will will have dual select switch that goes from stun to KILL !!!
I can't wait for the future,,,,,:beer2:
Yes but by then everyone will have a personal force field so the blasters will be obsolete.
,,,,,,,,didn't think of that,,,,:(
My daily carry is a Glock 30S with one extra magazine on my belt, while my wife's is a Sig Sauer 938 and extra magazine. Occasionally I'll pocket carry a Glock 42 in .380 if I'm just running down to the store in a pair of shorts. For more formal occasions it is either a Kahr PM9, or a Kimber Ultra Crimson Carry. With you guessed it...and extra magazine on my belt.
Just like knives Steve, we like photos,,,,,,,,,:D
The kids and grandkids are leaving today after a week long visit. I'll try to get some pics. As far as a magazine carrier goes, the VAST majority of my IWB carry rigs are made by FIST. The holsters are the hybrid version, leather exterior with a kydex interior, and leather magazine carriers.
I'm a fan of 1911s. Here's two- .45 Kimber and a Springfield Armory 9mm. Picked up the 9mm as shooting a .45 at the range gets expensive.
