Very nice,,,,,,,,,,,, looks like the lanyard swivel is missing,,,:(
But,,,,,,,,,,,
I have one you can have(PM your mailing info),,,, I bought it 10 years ago, as I was told it was for my Victory model,,,, well its not,,,,, ,,,,,,,,,its for a Colt,,,,,,,,,,,the seller is long gone & every time I see it lying in the cleaning box,,, it brings back bad memories,,,,
That would be very cool. Funny, when I brought out the gun to photograph I was reading the stampings again and looked at the empty lanyard ring hole. This brought me back to the first handgun I bought for myself. It was a Belgium made WWII surplus Browning Hi-Power, with black composite grips and a lanyard ring. Lots of fun. Thanks for the offer...PM on the way. So good memories on this end. This Colt looks like home made sin but it is tight and the lands and grooves are clean.
Brought her home, Friday!

Glad to see the butt stock pad on the Swiss rifle, after shooting it I now known why there neutral....that thing kicks like a mule and the Steele stock and really hurts, no body wanted to shoot it more than once!
From my gunsmithing days. I made this probably 20 years ago. Commercial Belgian Mauser action with a Shilen match barrel in 30-06. One of my favorite calibers, old school. AAA French walnut stock and my favorite stock wood. Black ebony forend tip. I don't know if you can get ebony like this anymore. 22 lpi checkering with ribbons. Engine turned bolt and hand lapped locking lugs. Checkered bolt handle and bolt stop. Skeleton butt plate and grip cap with 24 lpi checkering. Shadowline cheek piece. Timney trigger set at 2 lbs. Leupold 2x7. Glass bedded. 3 shot group is just a single ragged hole at 100 yards.
