There are 3 desks just in this room, a disassembled late 19th century desk in the dining room (we got it for spare pocket change on Sunday), a 1920s desk in the guest bedroom, one 1940s desk in the wife's craft room and a 1950s replica of a late 18th century desk in my workshop.

This desk is used for interfacing with the world. I spend as little time as possible here. I have a desk in my shop but I spend most of my time at a workbench in the garage. The garage makes me feel warm and safe. There is a sign "My Garage, My Rules"
