Do you know of O'Brien Guncraft Kits?

Just curious if anyone every heard of these O'Brien Guncraft kits or remember them. It was my grandfather's business out of Madison Wisconsin. He had advertisements in the back of popular science magazine and many other publications. I was looking around online tonight and saw a few postings about it.

He hand made the kits out of wood in his basement and would mail them out. This was his hobby job, he was a police officer by day. Unfortunately, plastics were the demise of any fun or quality of wood model kits.

I will get some pictures to post eventually.

I hope to one day get my woodworking skills up to replicate his work, this is a long way off since I have almost no woodworking skill at the moment.
