This was my grandpas, I found it in storage busted like this. The sentimental value is through the roof and paying to get it operational is not a problem. Can it even be done is my question? All help is appreciated.

Ummmm..... repairing that could be tricky. There are few guys on here who have repaired razors, but they would be a display piece only. The damage to that razor is to much to be fixable and used again. I'm sure others will chime in later who know more about what it would take (if possible) to fix. Good luck!

Welcome to SRP. The blade still belonged to Gramps. Keep it as a remembrance. Grinding it down to a 3/8 ain't worth it IMHO.
JimmyHAD Thanks, Its definitely going to be kept safe, too bad its a goner, Gonna have to just buy one from someone, putting up a wanted post as we speak, ill try and land a shave ready for 150-250.
Do you have the broken out pieces? It could be turned into a display piece (repair is going to show) or just close it up and make a shadow box of grand dad's stuff with that in it.
