I've not come across gator belts. Can you point me in the right direction?

Scrub that, I've just found them. how would you attach these to a two wheel grinder?

you woudl need to set up 2 rubber wheels and nto the stone wheels
itwould be like 2 KMGs running the right way with the wheels ajustable for how close thy are to each other
then you could swap the wheel sizes to ajust how hollow the grind is

Making a razor can be done on the cheap. My first couple (last two are out for heat-treat) and next few may be done with these simple tools: 4x36 belt sander, craftsman drill press, and craftsman wet grinder. All of this can be bought for less than $300....$200 if you don't get a drill press. I could have gotten by without the drill press, but I have one and use it. You don't have to have all of the "TOP OF THE LINE" tools, just patience & creativity on how to use what you have. Here was my first razor: http://straightrazorpalace.com/forge...ake-razor.html

I do plan on building a KMG clone & have recently bought a set of plans...but it can be done without all the bells and whistles. Nice tools do make things easier though....
