Seeing I am limited on space, I just bought a "used" Milwaukee 6230Porta Band deep cut saw. I plan on mounting it to a Swag Porta Band table. Anyone here use one for cutting razor blanks?

Little saws like these are surprisingly good tools. I got one of the DeWalt battery one's (cause I got a lot of their other tools) and I am embarrassed that I put off buying one for so long it's so useful. Good blades make all the difference. Fine tooth count for thin stock, you'll want at least two teeth in the work at all times.
That's just another "want" on my list. I need to finish my current projects first before I jump into another one.
Seems to wark pretty good...

Looks great, just a thought tho.I would also use some cutting oil.
I have not used one of these small saws a lot, but I have used one maybe a dozen times at a friends shop. I was always happy with the way that it worked. I think it is a smart buy.

I have used these a lot. Mostly to cut pipe that is buried under ground for one reason or another. There is 2 sizes with the bigger having enough depth to cut 4" pipe. Never saw an attachment like that for them though. Nice tool. I don't think I would use it for cutting razors. It wouldn't be my first choice that's for sure.
I like that machine, been searching Craiglist for one, cutting oil recipe/ 50% kerosine, 50% Hydraulic jack oil, works for all metals except TI.
