I just got a selection of old safety razors in the mail yesterday. I want to clean them up and try them out. Is it ok to put my straights on vacation for a week or two? Or will Lynn be leading the pack of angry villagers to burn my house down?;)

I'd say try to keep the straights happy by breaking one out a week and keep the rotation going so they can hope their turn comes up soon.
