That's a good questions. I've always said it free-oh-der. Though, I've never really actually had to say it to anyone, mostly just spell it on the forums :)
I'd put the accent on the last syllable.

It's spelled Friodur but it's pronounced 'Throat Warbler Mangrove'...

It seems that "Friodur" is a phonetic corruption of:
"Three More Sir" at least that is what you'll be saying after getting the first one. :D
I've always gone with "Fry-o-joor" as it's durable. Suspect an American accent would say that differently too though...
although I'm dutch and not german I think you pronounce friodur as:
fri-o-doer (where the oe in doer is pronounced as an call of an owl...)
