How do you pronounce Friodur?

This has been bothering me. Does anyone know?

Is it phonetic: Free o der? or Fry o der?

(or something else - German, I guess....) :shrug:

Clearly, I'm clueless...

That's a good questions. I've always said it free-oh-der. Though, I've never really actually had to say it to anyone, mostly just spell it on the forums :)

True - it's probably not something that's going to come up in everyday conversation....

I'd put the accent on the last syllable.

It's spelled Friodur but it's pronounced 'Throat Warbler Mangrove'...

It seems that "Friodur" is a phonetic corruption of:

"Three More Sir" at least that is what you'll be saying after getting the first one. :D

I've always gone with "Fry-o-joor" as it's durable. Suspect an American accent would say that differently too though...

although I'm dutch and not german I think you pronounce friodur as:
fri-o-doer (where the oe in doer is pronounced as an call of an owl...)
