Well after a hiatus of around 8 weeks from using my straights I got them back from Neil today.
I was a little worried that I may have to start again with sideburns only etc.
Bath, prep, lather and BANG! I started slowly and with caution but it would appear without really thinking about it I'd finished a 1 pass full face and neck without incident.
I'll give a second pass a go.
Rinse, lather and, a testament to Neil's honing abilities if noting else, the razor just touched my cheek at too steep an angle. 5mm weeper :D
That aside, it's the best shave I've had in weeks!
