Experience with the Zeepk sets?
I am interested in giving shaving sets including straights which I've restored as presents to some friends and family this Christmas. Now, while I'd like to give everyone a badger brush and a Tony strop, I can't afford to do that. So, I was considering buying the Zeepk sets which include a soap, strop, razor and brush for $20, and replacing the straights with my restorations. A nice cheap intro to straight shaving. My question is this,
Are the Zeepk strops any good for stropping, useless, middle of the road, etc... thanks - John
PS Insert Mehaz here as well, as they both seem to have these sets.
Yep, not worth the shipping
:cen I confess, I bought a set, it was not German 440 steel, it wasn't a real strop, the brush says Bass on it and the leather case is faux leather. The brush stand is okay. All I can say, of all the things I have purchased on eBay, it was one of them.
