well the razor itself costs about $129.99
A tube of red paste will run about $4.99
(these numbers taken from classicshaving)
Even a cheap strop will cost around $34.99 (I can't find the strop he refers to so it could be higher quality or lesser quality)

So if some staining and slight use don't bother ya then go for it
