I've moved onto other things as "hobbies," but I have my razors for shaving and my hones/skills in case I want more razors.
I also have dreams of attending meets any helping folks out, but I haven't had a chance to do that in years.

I am in an earlier stage: I got plenty sharp razors but cannot yet part company with the ones I don't use as often.
I am a relative newcomer compared to the others that have responded. I have a core group of that I feel that I am the long term custodian of and a larger group of razors that I view as transient. The transient blades come and go. I buy a few clean hem up a little and turn them loose. I have quite a bit of other stuff too. Scale materials and brushes and strops. It is all still very entertaining for me. Will my interest continue for many years to come. I do not know the answer to that, but right now I'm having a good time. I make some stuff, I find the odd nice rock that works well as a hone. I repair some other things. It is all still holding my interest. I have found a few people I like to share with. Small packages going back and forth in the mail, swapping edges, trying out some cool razors. I am happy to keep doing new things and exploring more aspect of this little hobby. I hope that everyone gets as much out of this as I do. I also enjoy meets and learning and teaching.
I think this is why some people run their edges over the side of a glass etc. :)

The journey encompasses more than razors & hones for me. When my razors are performing & not consuming any time; I look to aftershaves & soaps. Until I started 7 years ago, I had only experienced 4 or 5 scents & Barbasol.
