I've read folks saying something about great books that have lots of info of razors. Manufactures, dates, etc...
In your opinion, What is the book I should be looking for to use as a go-to guide on razors?
Thanks.

There are many. None cover everything. A search here for "books, razor" may be a good way to go. I have bought most that are in and out of print. They run from about $5 to over a hundred each. "Alibris" is a seller that I have used for years. Do a search there also. You will find reprints also at a lower cost.

For a broad base of info, my favorite is probably "Straight Razor Collecting" by Robert A. Doyle. It's been out of print for a while, but you can still find copies around without too much effort. You could also look into the "Standard Guide to Razors" by Roy Ritchie and Ron Stewart; the great majority of their info seems to have come directly from Doyle's book, but they have a better compendium of razor manufacturers.
I think the big thing to keep in mind about books, especially when it comes to dating, is that there are occasional glaring inaccuracies in all of them. Take everything with a grain of salt, and do as much research as you can on your own. Nothing beats primary sources when they're available.
