Karma
So, the past week or so, there have been several posts and reply's regarding cuts, nicks, weepers, etc. As I've read them, I've thought, "I have yet to draw blood." Well, Karma is a ########! Learned with a SR @ 17yrs....went back to it at 45 (now 47yrs). This happened this am.

All things considered, I feel lucky.

^^^ That's a fact!
Once in a while, since I have 2 little ones near me every morning when I shave, the 11 month old lets out a screech..........well nuff said I think
-
That won't even leave a scar. Unless you keep holding it open! :hmmm:
-
Oh that's nothing. I have a 2 inch line on my cheek where hair doesn't grow anymore. First time using a 9/8 FBU reminded me real quick to pay closer attention.
-
I find that width is not often a problem, but a longer than expected length can quickly zip through your earlobe.
-
I rarely cut myself (jinx).
The last time I cut myself was WTG, I then went over the cut ATG.
Silly silly me but I had to get those hairs :(
-
I go a long time in between blood letting. Usually on the rare occasions that I do, it is because of lack of paying attention/going too fast, or a little over confidence. A couple times going against the grain, the tip of the blade will hit my ear lobe. Doesn't take much to draw blood there.
-
Yep, Ear lobe does get in the way. I've been lucky enough to not let out the blood on my ear lobe but I've touched it a couple times. Scarry, then you sit and wait to see if its going to bleed.
What you got there is nothing. Bet it didnt even gush blood! Be careful man!
-
You got away lightly. I sliced my earlobe once, and the damn thing bled for hours.
Sometime later I was watching the scene in Reservoir Dogs in which the cops ear is sliced off by Michael Madson's character. Madson's shirt was still clean and white afterwards, and I knew that Tarantino had not done his homework. Mr. Blonde should've looked like he had been hit with a fire hose of blood.
