DALLAS FORT WORTH meeting!

For those folks who haven't been following the thread in the Newbie section, we have made a plan for a get together for straight razor users or wannabes in the Metroplex at the following time and place:

BJ's Brewhouse in South Arlington at NOON on Saturday, September 1, 2007

Our special confirmed guest will be John Crowley, proprietor of www.shavingshop.com, who will be bringing some colognes, razors and other goodies for observation and purchase ( I am bringing my SWMBO authorized spending limit).


Beer will be consumed. I am bringing some of my cases, and probably most of my collection of razors, I encourage everyone to bring their treasures, questions, restos and any problems we may be able to help with. If you have some razors to swap or sell, bring them - who knows, you might get lucky.


Come one, come all! If you are in the Metroplex (or even if you are not) - all are invited! Please post if you intend to come, so that we can have a head count!

OK, the DFW get-together is tomorrow September 1, 2007 at BJ's Brewhouse at NOON, on the service road near Matlock and I-20 in South Arlington down from the Parks Mall.

If you are into straights, come on - more the merrier!
