the fact that it boasts an "all metal..real steel" blade makes me cringe...
Well, it ain't a custom made razor and it ain't made by Dovo, TI or Henckels or whats his face in Germany so that accounts for all the quality blades out there in current production so what does that leave us with?
I looked at the seller's other items, and he seems to specialize in less than quality swords and knives. The Sweeney Todd razor looks like most of the other prop replicas I've seen, albeit a little less expensive. I guess if you wanted to go as Sweeney Todd to a costume party it would be ok, but I certainly wouldn't want to shave with it.
Or If you just wanted them for the scales and toss the blade I guess.
how about buying it FOR the scales and having perhaps Mr. Harner or another of the custom razor makers use the blade as a diagram or model for an actual blade :-D
Now THAT is a cool idea! Who wouldn't want a crazy big razor like Sweeney Todd's? I may just be a dork, but I would like one!:D
