Hello Everyone!
I was wondered if anyone has ordered from Introduction to razors and what kind of experience they had.
I ordered something from there and have not received any emails regarding my order and I have even emailed the address listed on their site with no response.
Any information that someone would have would be great!
There are quite a few guys here that have bought from him and speak very well about their experience. So hang in there,,,you'll be OK.
I've placed two orders with Steve, a Belgian coticule and a Dovo razor. Both arrived quickly (about a week to Italy). He is an active member here (blueprinciple) and I met him in person at the UK meet. He's a good guy. I would prefer an order acknowledgment also but the goods will arrive and if, after a reasonable time they don't, I'm sure he will take care of it.
I have done business with them in the past and have been thoroughly satisfied. The razor arrived here (Long Island, NY) faster than a purchase I made from a vendor in Atlanta, GA, carefully wrapped and exactly as described. The price was fair and I'm happier than a pig in poo with the razor and the service.
Sounds like you hit a glitch which is possible with anyone. I'd give them the benefit of the doubt based on my experience.
I ordered my first straight last week (Monday, I think), and it arrived on Friday, no problems.
I recently ordered a set of replacement scales from TheInvisibleEdge. From the time I ordered them and had them in my hand in Canada, was less than a week. They were beautiful North American Redwood scales which I love. So based on my experience, it's a good site to order from.:D

p.s. The shipping cost and taxes were already included in the price that you see on the site, which I like. No surprises.

I have to agree with everyone who's had good experiences of Steve. He's given me plenty of advice, great communication about orders, and stuff I've bought has arrived promptly and well wrapped. Prices seem competitive too, so I would have no hesitation in recommending him.
I have to say that I am really surprised that you have had any trouble with your order from Steve, mziter. His service & prices are an example to any retailer. Silver & I have bought three of our four razors from him. They arrived quickly & very well wrapped with no nasty shocks as far as post & packing are concerned. Most here who have dealt with him will agree that he is a stand up guy.
