well i am still a collecting beginner.. i got up 323 but I'm down to 264 ... yes, I'm talking about the number of razors..;)
thats just insane man you should make it an even 260 by giving me 4 lol jk i was not expecting a number like that when i posted this tread congrats :bow

i can only imagine, if you say your a beginner and were at 323 thats insane.....you can only use 1 at a time lol
It's been a while since I counted, actually. Which is why I just got up to count.
25 of them.
I plan on unloading a few soon.
Over 100 straight razors, about 20 DEs and 5 strops.
Probably about two dozen or so, but most of those would be project razors I learned to hone on. Say half a dozen actual shavers. Maybe one or two more.

I have a grand total of one. I was two until one was dropped (pay attention while stropping:gaah:)
I have 5 straights (and on the lookout for a couple more ;)) and around 25 DE/SE.
i have stopped myself at 8 straights for now (4 shave ready 4 projects) and am not buying another until they are all sharp. ha! we'll see. i have 2 DEs also. about a month ago i only had 1 razor but when i found this place i started reading and now i can actually tell what i am buying. so i blame you all.:rofl2: i had nothing to do with it.
i am hoping to get my grand total up to one haha but not old enough to even buy a razor if it was right in front of me kinda doesnt help hahaQuote:

So... in order of purchase:
1) Dovo 5/8 "best quality" - a surprisingly good shaver despite it's former budget price
2) Shumate 5/8 spike point, mock-tortoise scales - what to say? I love her to bits!
3) Wapienica, still with the stock scales (I don't know why people complain about the stock scales...) - it's a Wapi!
4) Genco Gold Seal - perfect shaver... not the prettiest girl in town but she is good at her job
5) W&B Hollow Ground, spike point - a veteran among razors... it is a solemn thing to shave with her
And no! I am not planning on selling any of them! :D

Well, I have my main daily use razor and a back up razor just that I have about 95 back up razors.

HMM, I have about 40+ I rotate through for shavers, and a "project box" of blades and misbehaving razors. There's about 10+ in there...

I counted 54 straights (excluding a 7 day set which has never touched a hone). 18 are shave ready the rest will be made ready over the course of this winter.
7 DE's and 1 Mach 3 with a blade that lasted over a year:rofl2:.
5 shavers, and about a dozen project razors. Most of those projects will be sold when I am ready with them.

seven, at the moment, although 3 of 'em aren't in great shape and I don't use 'em for shaving. I rotate through the other 4 once a month. (one week per razor) then at the end of the month I do maintenance as necessary.
4 in shaving rotation right now.
5 needing a light cleaning and honing.
4 in different stages of dis-repair for projects.
1 lot of 16 razors in the mail in various condition.
Approximately 100, 95 of which are not yet honed or restored. Right now I guess I have more money than time.

Grand total of 7 (my own little 7-day set). Though, I only really use 6, the 7th was my very first straight and is a 1800's vintage W&B. The blade is too small for my liking anymore, but I just like having something from the 19th century.

i was reading all posts and said wow.we had mo meeting and 1 of us had 1000 thousand razor's .after seeing that i was so happy to tell at home, honey i am not only one having, this addiction i have only 50-60.you can see picture if you CHECK MID-MO MEETING PICTURES good luck
Most at once? Maybe 75. Now I have less. It's strange though- now I have more of an itch to get rid of them (at the right price) then to get more! I think that is the minimalist in me.
16 that will never be sold and 20 that will be sold.
One, a Hoffritz Solingen German. Crude and rude, but sharp and shaves quite well. I have one DE as well.
27 total. All are shave ready. 5 in rotation.
