Marriage is good stuff when you're ready for it, you find the right person and you're both on the same page about the important stuff going in.

I am single for now... Will probably change by the end of the year though.....
Legally single, not that it matters. Working as hard as I can to promote my Girl Friend to Fiance, and the then to full Wife status. She's a gem, and I just gotta get the coin for a rock. I do feel bad for folks who have had unhappy marriages, life is rough, but I can't think of anything better right now, it's an important promise for me to make.
I've almost jumped off that cliff but I made it out alive. There are many women that still need to rub against my freshly shave face :)
I'm unmarried at the moment. June 27th, by about ten thirty AM... That's a different matter entirely. ;)

To make enough scratch for the ring I gave Nikki I took a week off work to aerate (sp?) lawns in the fancier neighbourhoods around the city. Working around 14 hour days with a buddy of mine we made about two hundred bucks a day. Spring is well on it's way, you should look in to it. :P
Now the wedding ring is a different matter, that I don't have to coinage for which is getting to be a bit of problem. Of course, I'm an idiot and a couple days after telling her I can't currently afford to spend that kind of money, what do I do but go out and blow a whack of cash on some razors... But to counter what some of the older (and wiser) gentlemen have said, her reaction to even that was well in stride. She asked how much I spent, then thought about it for a minute, commented that I seemed excited about. Then said that in the grand scheme, the money I spent is not a big issue but that she'll have to alter he plans for finding me a birthday gift (I've been after a seven day set for a while now) and that was that.

So aside from my bragging about her, what's the point of this story you may be asking? I don't know... I just like to brag about her, it's late and I'm rambley... Oh yeah, and when you're with a girl who's just that special, don't be a damned fool, snap her up!
