My 7/8's T-I is my favorite razor of the 4 I now have in my stable of razors. It is used in rotation so about once every 8 days.

I shave every day and have tough whiskers, personally I like 6/8's & 7/8's but heck 8/8's are good too. One cannot have to many razors, it's all about choice.
Can someone point me to a place where I can read up on the meaning of these widths, and so forth? Thanks.

Basically, it is the width (in inches) from the top of the spine to the cutting edge.
Depending on the razor, it can also be from the top of the grind to the blade edge. Some razors have extra large spines, and you can run into what is listed as a 5/8 razor that is 5/8 from the top of the grind, but a full 6/8 from the top of the spine. You see this most often from razors with fancy diamond shaped spines.
