And I would like to thank everyone on the board for your nice comments and for taking the time to even look at what a couple of Okies do in their spare time at work. It's nice to be able to share something like this with people who really enjoy it:tu.
Todays work, my DA in clear scales and prob my new workhorse, a "Mini" Wade&Butcher Medium Size Hollow Ground that has been ground down quite a bit, leaving only the UM from MEDIUM, it must have had a large chip in it. Think it will be a good little shaver though, right around 6/8's.

Great pix all! I guess once we learn to work wood and steel with some degree of skill there are quite a few things we can produce! Anyone else have other-than-str8s that they make using these skills? I'm still refining my wood an steel perfecting talents - I may go after building some fly rods later this year though...
Wo Ho!! clear scales!!!
Hmmmmm, the first set! Not too bad for my first try, too bad they were too small for my DA. And a thank you goes to Lynn for for the super hone job he put on it for Steph:tu. Keep those great comments coming guys.
Nice work!!!
You were not joking about only having the UM left!:rofl2:
You two have done a wonderful job.
About the first yo-yo pic, I thought you guys had made some kind of soap dish too!
