I've sent a few e-mails to Mike but he hasn't answered. None of the stock in his store has been renewed in months, either...and his last activity on this forum was in November. What gives? I've been dying for some more of the soap.

Well if he hasn't answered your e-mails and he hasn't visited here in months and his store isn't stocked you pretty much have answered your question for yourself there.
I don't know they guy so I have no knowledge.
All I can say is that I'm glad to see people and web stores like SRD and Tony Miller keeping it alive.
I'm not a superstitious person, but I've been beginning to think there's been a pattern that those who branch out into something productive on a broader scale with razor related activities end of fading away or disappearing from the razor radar.
Well Honed Razor, Josh Earl, Russel Baldridge, The Topher fka Ranat1 to name a few. Alex aka Philadelph, Charlie aka Spazola, Max, Traveler and anyone else I forgot, stay with us, men! Fight the kiss of death!! It's kind of creepy.

I have tried to contact Mike off and on unsuccessfully via email and phone for several months
I suppose, then, that we should consider him "Shanghaied by Pirates Until Further Notice". :(
