I'm looking for a barber either in the St. Louis, MO metro area or the Smoky Mountains area (Gatlinburg or nearby) who provides a shave with a straight razor for my dad for Father's Day. He wants an authentic experience and I'm hoping someone out there can help guide me in the right direction. Thanks!
I don't know what the laws are in Missouri, but in most states it's against the law for a barber to use a real straight razor. They have to use the disposable types. I was able to have my barber use my straight razor to do my shave. Most of the barber shops in my area aren't designed or built to do this type of service anyway. Good luck in your quest... :gl:
