I'm 65. Shaved with a str8 in the early-to-mid 1960's, then went back to DEs because of work (time and travel) and small kids (safety).:) Went back to mixing str8 shaving with DEs about 3 years ago and wonder why I waited so long...

I'm working REAL hard on 61, wet shaving most of my shaving life, with about 10 years of electric stubble making toward the last. I went to the straight last December and can't believe I waited that long. Mostly, it's thanks to this forum that I finally "saw the light". I do use a double edge when traveling, at least for now. I am surprised at the amount of young gentlemen using the straight, it is encouraging!
It is good to see that I am not alone in the 60+ age range! Those of us who have earned our "Senior" status gotta stick together!:)
Turned 41 this year. I've been shaving with a DE and/or straight for about 3 years now.
