24 in September and been cutting my self up for a good handfull of months.........
I'm 30 now and started almost a year ago. Thanks to everyone here for the support and knowledge. I think it is a great thing that in this age of technology that we all come together to share an ancient tradition and bridge the gap between cultures, global locations as well as age.
I am 31 and started the SR shaving about three months ago and aint looked back yet I dare not as the missus would kill me as I get carried away with things and dont do it by half! So when you look like a babboons bottom after the intial trials just relax and think it will get better!
39. 40 in september. But I'd like to be in my early 20's forever.

I seldom post, but I'm here.
I still liked the old forum the best.

I'm 39 years old.
29, I've been using a shavette for several months now.
I hope to be getting the real deal very soon.
38 and straight shaving for a couple months now. Yeah this would make an excellent poll.
I turned 40 in March.
Have been SR shaving since September 2008. Only a few mishaps but still have my nose and ears. I guess I am off to a good start. Will never go back to a Fusion or Mach III. Even though they are good for touch ups when I am in a hurry,
23, shaving straight for about three months, got one convert already, and another buddy who started of his own accord, but hasn't had time to really get in to it yet. I may get my girlfriend's little bro onboard when I visit them in a couple of months, we'll see what the antique he got looks like. his mom bought him one just for kicks and giggles the same weekend I got mine.
and while She is on the other side of the planet, if it wern't for the straights, it wouldn't bother to shave at all!
48, using a straight for 3, years, wet shaved since I was 16, with an old safety razor.
Cheers
Gordon
I'm 38 years old. Straight shaving since 1987.
I'm 26.
I can't believe it's been four years since I started this!
Clinging on to 34 for grim death, well at least for a couple more weeks anyway!:rofl2: Been straight shaving for almost a year and having a blast.:y
I'm 65. Shaved with a str8 in the early-to-mid 1960's, then went back to DEs because of work (time and travel) and small kids (safety).:) Went back to mixing str8 shaving with DEs about 3 years ago and wonder why I waited so long...
I'm working REAL hard on 61, wet shaving most of my shaving life, with about 10 years of electric stubble making toward the last. I went to the straight last December and can't believe I waited that long. Mostly, it's thanks to this forum that I finally "saw the light". I do use a double edge when traveling, at least for now. I am surprised at the amount of young gentlemen using the straight, it is encouraging!
It is good to see that I am not alone in the 60+ age range! Those of us who have earned our "Senior" status gotta stick together!:)
Turned 41 this year. I've been shaving with a DE and/or straight for about 3 years now.
38 years old this month....first Straight razor shave was more than 20 years ago though...time flies:(
30...and start shaving with stright on my 30th bday (about 2 months ago)
