Good morning shaving fiends.
This weeks exercise will require simply a true or false answer.
Pierre Thiers Issard was the owner of a razor manufactury going well back to the 19th century. Now of course they are owned by Sabatier (sp) Cutlery who is probably owned by some mega corporation.
Back in the day Pierre, who was a bull of a man personally hammered the razors and it was a known fact that he could work beside the forge banging away on razors all day. It was a feat no one else in the factory could do. As a matter of fact the recently available TI Pierre Thiers LE edition razors were made on blanks going back to Pierre's day and still have the hammer marks on the spine of the blade and those were put there by Pierre himself.
So, is this a lot of hooey or is it the gospel truth? Maybe Pierre was a skinny runt who couldn't hardly lift a forging hammer.
