Recently won a Bresnick on ebay and its nice. Thanks for the info about the whole company. :)
I have a Bresduck that has Dubl Duck and Solingen engravings. It is blued, but I am not sure if that is original. It says special no. 1 and the ducks are noticeably different from my other DD's. The blade seems to be of very high quality; though I have not shaved with it and cannot quantify that statement.
I have a feeling it will be a good shaver when I get around to it.
