I see there are no reviews on restoration or honing services provided by members here.
Is there a requirement to post your services here? Or, can anyone post and say they can restore razors?
What should you look for when choosing someone to restore your piece?
I know the wetshave community typically consists of great people and very honest.
if you are worried just get lynn to hone. it is a fail proof system really.
I can't say I'm worried. Just curious. I can only assume everyone's had a great turn about with the people here. Otherwise, perhaps something would've been said.
The official policy is that we DO NOT review people who do restoration or any other services the same as we don't review vendors.
There are many variables when doing restoration and if you only look at the end result that might only be half the story. Also very often these kind of posts turn into a place for people to vent against someone for a perceived injustice which may or may not be justified.
There are plenty of posts where people give kudos to individual work done and if you hang around here you will soon learn who does great work.
Thanks for clearing that up. I've seen many posts like you mention.
