went to a flea market today looking specifically for straight razors to paractice with. First market I went to had a pretty large pile of SR all for between $4.00 -$5.00
I picked up for of them at $5 a piece
razors are:
5/8" "Rennak" germany
4/8" "Riegel & co" Sheffield
5/8" "hugo Koller" Solingen Germany
5/8" "karbono" special steel by "S.R droescher" Solingen Germany
I have a couple of questions:
1) does anyone know about any of these manufacturers?
2) did I do ok?

I picked up a Riegel and Co at a flea market in Clayton GA, cost me $20 fro a 6/8 chopper with bone handle, seems like a lovely blade but can't find any info anywhere, every razor I found was $20-$25 minimum, one guy even had one for 190 bucks, but it was beautiful, had a dragonfly inlaid in enamel or such like on the handle.
A lot of these guys seem to know what they have.
