Any thoughts on this razor? I have a feeling that one
will be in my rotation sometimes in the next few weeks.
Anyone here own a Fromm?

I've been tempted to buy that one about a dozen times. I love the way it looks.
I think, though, it's not a Fromm razor. It's a NOS blade in Fromm handles.
Terry, pretty razor. Looks like it has a lot of heft to it. It should glide through any rough stuff. Razors from that site come shave-ready - just a litlle gentle persuasion for you.

The razor is not a Fromm, it is mounted on Fromm scales however ( as Joe pointed out ). The blade is an old stock blank , ground recently by Herr Wacker before he retired.
Looks like beaut, surprised you have managed to resist it this long, go on, give in.....
I have a few of the Wackers I got from John, and they have all been great,John also does an excellent job honing them,so mine have all been super shavers as recieved
Best Regards Gary
I have more than a few of John's razors and they are without exception outstanding shavers. So go ahead and add another razor to your rotatation you know you want too...LOL
John
Terry,
What??? Your want that instead of the beautiful framebacks he has??? At the very least get one of each <g>.
That Fromm handled Wacker has tempted me before too. Nice spike tip.
Tony
I wish I could afford all the razors that I want.
I definately like the spikes the best, IMHO they
just look better. I'm so glad that Lynn sent me
a spike as my first razor. Had he not done this
I would probably have avoided them.
Damn, this wonderful addiction. :D
Thanks for responding guys.

I think the framebacks are awesome, too!!! And good luck finding any more of them when these are gone. I'm probably going to have to snap one up once I free up some cash. All the razors on John's site are really nice shavers.
You've got that wrong. It's a Wacker blade with Fromm scales. Wacker makes a fine blade. You really can't go wrong at John Crowley's site. His razors tend to be really fine quality and not run of the mill appearance.Quote:
