Gotta boast about a razor on its way to me!!

Sorry guys for bragging, but I think I found a hum-dinger of a 7/8 Bartmann from John Crowley. The gold tang and rosewood are awesome looking. I find that I really do need a hefty razor for my beard. Besides, the bigger razors impress the women. I like when they say, "Holy Shi*!!!, you put that huge, gleaming thing to your face every moring, you crazy bastard?!" Well, the one girlfriend of mine had one of my straights over my neck at 2:00 AM one morning a few months ago - that was her way of communicating. I slept on my stomach after that until I got the hell outta there. Crazy bit*h she was!!

Fine looking razor, dude. I too have fallen in love
with the 7/8 since buying a W&B spike from Joe
Chandler. For some reason I'm hung up on spikes.
I need to get away from that though.

Sounds like you should start sleeping in full body
armour or at least chain mail around your neck...
and perhaps other 'delicate" areas.... :)

Something similar happened to me once...a girl I was dating ran after me with a knife when I told her I was going out with the guys. She was a hottie...but obviously nuts (I didnt know until that moment). Anyway I had my buddy start my car and I had to literally throw her accross the room onto a couch to give me enough lead time to escape unscathed. This was the only way I could get out without having to physically hurt her. I got to my car and low and behold she jumped on the hood. anyway somewhere above 7 MPH the bitch fell or jumped off (I like to think she fell) and I have never seen her again. True story.

I think your story is better than mine. Jumping on the hood of a car? That's ludicrous. At least you could just run away. I couldn't because we lived together and shared property together and all my possessions were in her place. I couldn't just cut-n-run like you did. I later slept on the couch right before I moved out. I'll never live with a woman who has cats again either. She had three of those fu**ers. One pus*y is enough to deal with - I had to deal with four of 'em in total under one roof!! :rant:

My girlfriend was insecure, paranoid, anti-social, and other unhealthy adjectives I can't think of right now. I knew she had issues but I never thought she'd resort to violence. I guess irrational people do irrational things when they have no control over their lives and they can't control others' lives as well. I learned that you really don't know someone until you live with them. I won't marry someone unless I live with them first. :nono: A good piece of advice, fellas.

FWIW (For What It's Worth, don't want anyone thinking I'm saying something mean again) my ex wife (wife 1.0) was a psycho too. All the warning signs were there from the outset but I just simply chose to ignore them because she was so amazing in the sack that I just chalked it up to "momentary delusionary fits" or stress. I refused to listen to any of my friends or my family when they tried to warn me.

Well, let's just say that I learned my lesson. Wife 2.0 has all the positive traits of wife 1.0 and none of the negative traits... she's smart (smarter than me which admittedly isn't all that hard of an achievement), a wonderful cook, fun to spend time with both horizontally and vertically, she loves dogs and kids, doesn't go "eww" when a bug shows up in the house, treats me like a king without kowtowing, and is a wonderful partner.

My taste in women has definitely improved. It took me a long time to grow up and learn how to pick them though. I used to joke that whenever I walked into a room and was instantly attracted to some woman there that was the woman I should make sure I stayed the furthest away from because I guarantee she'd be stalking me within 2 weeks otherwise.

My Fiance is a fiesty difficult stubborn one (which is the only way I like them) and she loves to give me a hard time just to get a rise out of me...the other day she started saying something or other...but stopped dead in her tracks when she noticed I happened to be holding my gun at the time (I had been cleaning it). lol
