I did something very similar and recorded my first shave (with a shavette) back in October.
- yes you may laugh all you want - thats why i recorded it - just so i could laugh at it later down the road.

OUCH!...That was one terrible shave...lol....I don't know how someone could shave with lather that dry...the whole video just looked painful to me :(

That looks so terribly painful. It looks like he literally pulled out every single hair on his face. So many weepers. I sincerely hope he sticks with it. I think without having a bad shave like that, you lose the perspective when you learn to do things proper. My first straight shave I was using way too much pressure. I didn't get any nicks, but when I put on the aftershave my face was on fire for a day. It was terrible. But I knew that I was doing something wrong and that things would get better once I figured out what that was and how to fix it. I really do hope that he has the same attitude and doesn't just go "God! I don't know how anyone could ever shave with these! Its so painful!"
