this thread is turning funny fast...
I guess the ladies *are* going to be smitten by you if you whip up a 9/8 and use it like it's a no big deal Mach3, without any prep. Come on, you have to admit this - even in the movies, the macho guy shaves with as big an implement as available - like this Crocodile Dundy guy (too bad he didn't have a saber lying around), and preferably no soap, brush, etc - he's not a sissy, you know
Cheers
Ivo
That's a great scene. If you watch it very carefully, at first he is shaving with some disposable POS. When the lady approaches he hides it and whips out his Bowie knife to finish up. I didn't even notice the first part of the scene where he was shaving more conventionally the first time I saw it.Quote:

Getting back to the original subject, if you read between the lines here what you can see everyone is saying is that its all a matter of what you enjoy shaving with the most. You just need to try an assortment of sizes and use what you like the most.
And I won't even broach the subject of big razors are just a substitute for...
ooooh I can just see it now...as soon as I start shaving with an axe...I know what you will all be thinking! :eek:Quote:
