Hi All,
Two straights I'm looking at.
The first is a Wald-solingen the second a Flic. I don't know anything about these brands, anyone got one, know of etc..
Sorry about pics, best available.
Cheers

The wald has an ugly chip.
Nothing that 20 minutes on a Norton 220 wouldn't take care of :D .

Yeah, but it'll get you into the decorated area of the blade.
Only an issue if you are more concerned with form over function...Quote:

I only like razors that I want to shave with and would be happy to have in my cupboard.

Hey Gary - Just saw your thread on the Flic and Wald Solingen Query.
I know its nearly 2 years ago now but better late than never ??
I own one of each and was lucky enough to pick up duplicates on fleabay recently -yet to receive.
They are both great shavers the Flic being the smoother of the 2.

I agree with Onimaru55.
I bought a Flic Flic-Best razor from an antique
store and it was still shave ready or had never
been used. Shaves clean with no nics.
Flic are an excellent razor.
This is amazing ! I came off this forum site to Google Flic razors and it came up with a razor in tazmania in a museum and one leading back to here. I got mine from www.theinvisibleedge.co.uk just recently and it's my first str8 razor.
It's a great razor.Mine has yellow marble effect scales and has the original box which is embossed with the names of two Indian gentlemen from Karachi in the 1930s. We ought to have a Flic club.
